It has been almost 67 years since the sinking of our Grand Old Ship, USS UTAH, and here we are, eight survivors and many guests attending our 21st consecutive annual reunion. This reunion, like so many others in recent years was made possible by the planning and hard work of our "First Daughter" of the UTAH - Mary Kreigh. Mary, as usual, was assisted by her very special daughter Nina They are descendants of Chief Yeoman Albert Wagner, a Utah Survivor.
This is not a newsletter about the reunion; Mary will take care of that. Instead here are just a few photos to leave our USS UTAH "Footprints" for posterity. This, our 21st reunion is the fruit of the endeavor by our old Shipmates Jack Vassen, and Frank Camperell who hosted our very first reunion in Salt Lake City, in 1988. We are saddened that Jack and Frank were unable to attend, however, they were there in our memories.
